Pistol league results can be found here.

The winter pistol league begins January 19th at 4:00pm. Shooters should arrive between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. This event is open to the public. The cost to shoot is $1.00 per target, it will cost non-members an additional $1.00 per week. The league is broken up by shooting discipline and the class of firearm. The two disciplines are combat and bullseye.

Combat is shot two handed using an NRA B-29 target at 50 feet. The course of fire consists of two strings of 10 rounds each with a mandatory reload. You will have 45 seconds for the fist string and 30 seconds for the second. It does not matter when the reload is done.

Precision is shot one handed using one NRA B-2 slow fire target and two NRA B-3 rapid fire targets. The slow fire round is 10 shots in 15 minutes. The first rapid fire round consists of two strings of 5 shots in 20 seconds each. The second rapid fire round consists of two strings of 5 shots in 10 seconds.

Classes are broken up by type of firearm:

  • Rimfire
    • Scoped
    • Open Sight
  • Centerfire
    • Scoped
    • Open Sight
  • .45
    • Scoped

  • Concealed Carry  (Combat only; limited by the size of the firearm)

More "experienced" shooters i.e. over the age of 65 shoot in their own division. They can shoot the combat division sitting down supported and bullseye two handed.

Shooters may shoot a week ahead or a week behind in case they cannot attend one of the evenings.
